Road traffic between Russia and Georgia has been stopped for trucks due to a strong snowstorm and the ice-covered surface of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars highway.
The movement of trucks on a 16-kilometer section from Gudauri to Kobe was forbidden. Vehicles can only move with anti-skid chains and under the supervision of the police.
