Georgian PM expects no innovations from NATO summit

The Prime Minister of Georgia shared his expectations from the NATO summit. It will take place in Washington on July 9–11.

Irakli Kobakhidze noted that he did not expect significant changes there.

"With regard to NATO enlargement, there are public statements from NATO leaders that NATO enlargement is not an issue that can be actively considered at this stage",

the Prime Minister said.

At the same time, he emphasized that Georgia was ready for close cooperation with partners in NATO and would continue to work in this direction.
