Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia and U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs George Kent met to discuss Tbilisi-Washington strategic partnership.
During the meeting in Tbilisi yesterday, Gakharia and Kent discussed the wide range of issues of their countries’ bilateral cooperation, the Government of Georgia’s press office reported.
Gakharia said the bipartisan Georgia Support Act, which was recently passed by the US House of Representatives, is yet another proof of the high-level U.S.-Georgia relations, Agenda.ge reported.
