Georgian Parliament to convene extraordinary session next week

The Georgian Parliament  plans to convene the extraordinary plenary session on July 29.

One of the main issues planned to be discussed at the extraordinary sessions will be the setting up public commission for considering the enactment of the proportional electoral system with the zero threshold and abolition of the majoritarian system for 2020, 1tv.ge reported.

The Parliament has to appeal to Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili for the convocation of the extraordinary plenary sittings.
