 Georgian President sends condolence over An-148 plane crash

Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili expressed his sadness over Russia's An-148 plane crash. 

"My condolences to Russian people over the tragic passenger plain crash in Russia. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families," the President wrote on his Facebook page.

Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili also offered his condolences to the Russian people earlier, Agenda.ge reported.

"Deeply saddened by the news of plane crash near Moscow. On behalf of the Government of Georgia, I express my condolences to the Russian people, and to the families and friends of the victims," Kvirikashvii said.

The Saratov Airlines regional jet disappeared from radar screens a few minutes after departing from Domodedovo Airport.

According to the Russian Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov no one out of 65 passengers and six crew members has survived the crash.
