Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili congratulated all Muslim citizens on the Eid al-Adha holiday.
"I congratulate our Muslim fellow citizens on Eid al-Adha - a holiday of peace, kindness and hope. I wish prosperity, joy and happiness to everyone", Garibashvili said.
Eid al-Adha, along with Ramadan, is the main Muslim holiday. On this day, believers sacrifice a domestic animal to the Almighty and distribute its meat to the poor, regardless of their faith.
