Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili will visit Ukraine, the Ukrainian Ambassador to Georgia Igor Dolgov said today, adding that the visit is scheduled for the second half of March.
"I will try to deepen relations between Georgia and Ukraine. A lot of activities are planned in this direction in the near future, including the visit of the Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs to Ukraine and the visit of the Georgian Prime Minister," Sputnik Georgia cited Dolgov as saying.
He noted that during his visit, Kvirikashvili will attend the GUAM summit.
In 2017, Georgia and Ukraine mark the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
