Georgian and Israeli PMs discuss trade cooperation

Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili held talks with his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu during his official visit to Israel.

At the meeting, they discussed the dynamics of trade turnover between the two countries. The Prime Minister welcomed the interest of Israeli companies in investing to Georgia.The development of innovations and technologies was also discussed, Sputnik-Georgia reports. 

In addition, Kvirikashvili and Netanyahu discussed cooperation in the security sphere.

The Georgian PM will also meet the speaker of the Knesset Yuli-Yoel Edelstein, President of Israel Reuven Rivlin and a leader of the Knesset opposition Isaac Herzog.

Georgia’s Foreign Minister, Vice-Prime Minister Mikheil Janelidze and Prime Minister’s Adviser for Foreign Affairs Tedo Japaridze are included in the Georgian delegation.
