Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said “liberal fascism” would be “defeated” in Georgia following the parliamentary elections.

According to him, the next year “should be the year of complete liberation of Georgian public, Georgian state and Georgian politics” from the alleged phenomenon.

"Liberal fascism is being purposefully and in a coordinated manner funded from foreign sources by donor organisations, which is a crime against the Georgian public," Kobakhidze said.

The PM expressed his confidence that “Georgian politics, public and state will be free from liberal fascism”, pledging his Government would “do everything” for the purpose.

The parliamentary elections are scheduled in Georgia for October 26.
