Kobakhidze stated that security forces will ensure order during the elections and that attempts to implement a Ukrainian-style protest scenario will be thwarted.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated that the republic's authorities will not allow a Ukrainian-style protest scenario during the upcoming municipal elections.

According to Kobakhidze, the protest activity is being sponsored by foreign intelligence agencies, as was the case with the Ukrainian Maidan.
