According to the Agency of Public Service of Georgia, the largest number of marriages with foreign citizens of Georgia have been registered with citizens of Russia this year.
According to News-Georgia, since January 2015, 891 Georgian residents have married Russian women. Next in popularity among the male population of Georgia are citizens of Azerbaijan (227), Armenia (188), Ukraine (175) and the US (30).
Russian men married 465 Georgian women. The distribution of preferences among residents of Georgia is a bit different in comparison with men: after Russians are citizens of Turkey (186), Azerbaijan (105), Greece (96) and Armenia (63).
