Today in Almaty a week of Georgian cinema has started. Its program includes the films 'Tangerines' by Zaza Urushadze, 'The Other Bank' and 'Corn Island' by Giorgi Ovashvili, which were shot recently, as well as classic films 'Blue Mountains, or the Incredible Tale' by Eldar Shengelia, 'The First Swallow' by Nana Mchedlidze and 'Melodies of the Veriyski Quarter' by Giorgi Shengelia.
In addition, a photography exhibition 'Spectacular Georgia' will be held, which will present works reflecting the landscapes, cultural heritage and new architectural structures of Georgia.
