The Georgian government is ready to sell 25% shares of the two state-owned companies, ‘Oil and Gas Corporation’ and ‘Georgian Railway’ , a candidate for Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili announced at a meeting of the Georgian Parliament.
According to him, the government is continuously monitoring the situation on the stock exchange and has already held talks with several major investment banks, Sputnik Georgia reports.
He stressed that 25% of the ‘Oil and Gas Corporation’ and ‘Georgian Railway’ companies’ will be put on the stock exchange ‘as soon as there is a favorable situation’.
