Georgian judoka Lasha Shavdatuashvili has claimed gold at the World Judo Championships Seniors in the Hungarian capital of Budapest.
Datuashvili, 29, has handed defeat to his Swedis rival Tommy Macias in the under 73kg category, Agenda.ge reported.
Calling him 'one of the most decorated judo players on the planet, the International Judo Federation (IJF) said that it 'was not so surprising win'.
Datuashvili became Olympic champion twice in 2012 and in 2016. He won his first European championship in 2013.
