Georgian opposition leaders meet with Mike Pence

US Vice President Mike Pence held a meeting with Georgian opposition leaders in Tbilisi, Georgia.

"We reported on the situation in the country, on internal problems of democratic development," the leader of the Movement for Liberty - European Georgia party Davit Bakradze said, referring to the constitutional reform and freedom of speech in Georgia.

Another participant of the meeting, leader of the Free Democrats party Shalva Shavgulidze said that the conversation concerned the problem of excessive concentration of power and "informal governance" of former Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili.

According to the leader of the United National Movement, Nika Melia, the situation with ex-President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili was also discussed at the meeting with Pence.
