Georgian snowboard cross champion dies under avalanche

Today, the Georgian Interior Ministry reported about the death of the Georgian snowboard cross champion, the head of the Bakuriani group of the Snowboard Federation, Nugzar Dikonashvili. The sportsman came under an avalanche while skiing and died at the scene.

As Georgia Online writes, the accident occurred between Mount Kokhta and Didveli. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has initiated an investigation under article 115 (incitement to suicide).
