German Foreign Ministry: Syria remains humanitarian catastrophe

The humanitarian situation in Syria remains catastrophic, despite negotiations, the German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said at a press conference.

According to him, the fact that the negotiations are currently underway in Astana "should not make us forget that Syria remains a humanitarian catastrophe," RIA Novosti cited the minister as saying.
