German Foreign Ministry anxious about incidents on contact line in Nagorno-Karabakh

German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier has stated that Berlin, which is currently chairing the OSCE, intends to intensify its efforts on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

"We are anxious about the large number of incidents with deaths along the contact line between Armenia and Azerbaijan. We need to intensify efforts under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group,'' Steinmeier said.

The diplomat also mentioned the Moldovan-Transnistrian conflict. The German Foreign Ministry has plans to resume negotiations on this issue in the so-called "5 + 2" format, RIA Novosti reports.
