A meeting of Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov, chairman of the Azerbaijani-German Forum, Hans-Eberhard Shlayera and Deputy Minister of the North Rhine-Westphalia region of Germany has taken place today in order to discuss the economy, energy, industry, medium-sized businesses and the art of Gunter Horsetski. The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was also discussed during the meeting.
According to Trend, Khalafov expressed his dissatisfaction with the work of the OSCE Minsk Group on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and drew the attention of the German guests to the potential of Germany and the European institutions as mediators in resolving this problem.
The politician also said that the German presidency of the OSCE next year opens up possibilities for new initiatives to resolve the conflict.
