Germany's Die Linke condemns anti-Russia sanctions

Germany's Left party (Die Linke) condemns anti-Russia sanctions and Berlin's policy towards Moscow, Die Linke's Dietmar Bartsch said.

"It’s wrong to attempt to force a country to its knees through sanctions. I think there should be changes maybe also coming from another opposition party," he said, speaking at a press conference in Berlin.

Party co-leader Katja Kipping said that lifting of sanctions from Russia remains a clear position of the party. "Of course, this is a clear position of our party," RIA Novosti cited he ras saying.
