German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier has visited Afghanistan for the seventh time. The current visit of the Minister was unannounced.
In Kabul, Frank-Walter Steinmeier is to meet with the President of Afghanistan, Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai, who plans to discuss the conciliatory process in the country, as well as issues related to the implementation of reforms in order to resist terrorism.
"People in Afghanistan can continue to rely on the solidarity of Germany, our multilateral assistance in civilian reconstruction and development, our contribution to the mission (NATO), our financial support to the Afghan security forces,’’ Tass cites the German Minister.
