The award winner, speaking with a correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza, noted in the first place that 'Russia's Media Manager - 2016'' is a very prestigious award, which is awarded among the electronic and print media, in the sphere of social responsibility of media. "The awarding ceremony is held by people who themselves work in the media business, and the top managers of almost all radio and TV stations are awarded. It is very pleasant and honorable to be in line with Dobrodeev, with the head of Gazprom-Media, Chernyshenko," he pointed out.
In addition, the creative producer pointed out that he was awarded for multiple projects. 'National Question’ and 'Peoples of Russia' programs have been combined into one, because they represent the same theme - the national question, the ethnic composition of the Russian people, their characteristics and culture. The bid committee put forward me due to the promotion of inter-ethnic relations, raising sensitive issues related to national policy and the stories about the peoples of Russia. That is, it is also an educational project," Gia Saralidze concluded.
A member of the Board of Trustees of the National Award 'Russia's Media Manager', the member of the Rietumu Council, Alexander Gafin, noted at the ceremony that the award has existed already 15 years and this fact shows that it has become an organic and very useful part of the media environment.
