Gold and currency reserves of Kazakhstan decrease by 10.6% in 2015

The total gold and currency reserves of Kazakhstan decreased by 1.4% in December, and overall in 2015 by 10.6%, to 91.581 billion dollars.

Of them, 63.508 billion dollars come from the National Fund, which actively decreased by 1.1% in December and by 13.3% over the year.

The remaining 28.073 billion dollars are from the gross international reserves of the National Bank.

Assets in foreign currency in December decreased by 2.2% to 20.497 billion dollars (in 2015 they decreased by 6%), gold assets grew by 2% to 7.576 billion dollars (increase by 2.5%), Interfax reports.
