Vice-Speaker of the government Olga Golodets will head the Coordinating council for the development of domestic and inbound tourism, the Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky will become her deputy. The composition of the Council was approved today by the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
In addition, the Council includes representatives of federal executive bodies, the State Duma and Federation Council, as well as organizations associated with the development of domestic and inbound tourism, gazeta.ru reports.
As the government reported, the Council will promote cooperation between federal and regional authorities, as well as development-oriented tourism organizations.
