Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko and Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin have discussed cooperation in power engineering and the fight against COVID-19 in a phone conversation, the press service of the Belarusian government said, BelTA reports.
The prime ministers of Belarus and Russia continued discussing matters of trade and economic cooperation across the entire spectrum of cooperation in energy industry, production sector, and finance. They also exchanged information about the fight against COVID-19.
It was the second phone conversation Roman Golovchenko and Mikhail Mishustin have had in the last two days. The day before they agreed that Belarusian and Russian government agencies would work together to lift restrictions on movement across the Belarusian-Russian border. The Belarusian prime minister also informed his Russian counterpart about the measures being taken to prevent attempts to destabilize the situation in Belarus.
