Today, the site of the Russian government published decree №1724-p 'On approval of measures to preserve and develop Kislovodsk resort park until 2020', according to which the facilities of park will be repaired and refurbished, in order to restore its historical and cultural heritage and increase tourism potential. Order has been prepared by Ministry of Caucasus in accordance with instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the development of Kislovodsk resort park.
As described in the explanatory note to the document, the park will receive the status of specially protected natural territory of federal significance. A special federal state budgetary institution will be created for its management and development.
Repair and restoration, in accordance with security obligations, awaits those objects that will be recognized as belonging to the cultural heritage of federal importance within the borders of the park. Use of objects on the lands of federal property will also be reviewed and the practice of public-private partnership for the construction of new infrastructure of Kislovodsk resort park will be introduced.
Employees of the resorts of Caucasian Mineral Waters will be sent on training courses to increase the efficiency of the operation of the medical and health infrastructure of park. Also, a modern navigation system will appear in the park.
