Governor of South Sinai: we like Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani people in Egypt

The governor of the Egyptian province of South Sinai Khaled Fouda arrived in Baku. He is accompanied by a delegation, which includes representatives of major tourist and airline companies, the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza reports.

"The purpose of our visit is to strengthen bilateral ties in tourism," Khaled Fouda said. He noted that Egypt is aimed at attracting Azerbaijani tourists to Sharm el-Sheikh. As part of this cooperation, it is planned to organize the exchange of sports events, as well as press tours for representatives of the media of both countries.

The governor said that over the past two years the number of Azerbaijani tourists visiting Egypt has declined. According to him, this does not correspond to the level of relations between countries and peoples. Ho noted that last week, a global youth forum was held, which was attended by 3,000 participants from 113 countries.

Khaled Fouda stressed that today the city is properly guarded and tourists can feel safe. In addition, he said that the Egyptians very like Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani people.
