In Kakheti, the average daily processing of grapes has reached a peak, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture reports.
”In the Kakheti region, in the last 24 hours, 40 wineries processed about 6 thousand tons of grapes," the department specified.
The Ministry of Agriculture added that last year, the country processed a record number of grapes in the history of independent Georgia - about 230 thousand tons, and the income of producers exceeded 300 mln lari (more than $ 111 mln), Sputnik-Georgia reports.
