Great Patriotic War veterans and home front toilers will receive Victory Day cash payments, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"We celebrate 75th anniversary of Victory, so we will render assistance related to this date: we will allocate 75,000 rubles to veterans and people of all categories equated to them and 50,000 to home front toilers,” the president said at a meeting with veterans and representatives of public patriotic associations.
The Russian leader recalled that usual Victory Day payments amount to 10,000 thousand to veterans and 5,000 to home front toilers, RIA Novosti reports.
