On Thursday, June 16, Turkish Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar and Greek Defense Minister Nikos Panagiotopoulos met at NATO Headquarters in Brussels.
The negotiations took place after a meeting of NATO Defense Ministers on the theme "Defense and Deterrence".
During the meeting, the importance of open communication channels to discuss disagreements and to continue the dialogue with an view to a positive agenda was noted.
According to the ministers, this will help the countries to build good neighborly relations and reduce tensions.
