Greece doubles oil imports from Azerbaijan

In 2025, Greece has doubled its imports of Azerbaijani oil. The total value of the Azerbaijani export exceeded $268 mln.

Azerbaijan supplied Greece with 500,000 tons of crude oil in the first nine months of this year. According to the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, this is twice as much as last year. 

According to the committee, shipments to Greece brought in over $268 million for the Azerbaijani treasury, an 85% increase compared to last year.

The committee noted that shipments to Greece account for approximately 3% of Azerbaijan's total oil exports.
