Turkey managed to prevent the interception of Turkish aircraft by the Greek air force over the Aegean Sea, the Turkish Ministry of National Defense informed.
"The Greek Air Force tried to intercept our aircraft, which were performing tasks in the framework of the NATO mission in international airspace. The appropriate response was given,” the agency explained.
The Ministry of Defense stressed that the NATO mission was "successfully completed."
