Grozny Airport will increase the number of flights during the Caucasus Investment Forum (CIF). This information was announced at a meeting held in the capital of Chechnya.

Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Sergey Nazarov, said that the majority of forum participants would travel by air.

"It is obvious that the existing flights are not enough for these purposes, so we need to work out the issue of increasing the number of flights so as to make maximum use of the airport's capacity",

Nazarov said.

In addition to this, the official called for adjustments to be made to the infrastructure so that the city could accommodate so many guests. Among other needs, he named reliable cellular communications. CIF-2024 starts in Grozny on July 15. The forum will be held until July 17.
