Guarantors of Astana process hold meeting in Nur-Sultan

The meeting between the guarantors of the Astana process (Russia, Iran and Turkey) and UN Special Envoy Geir Pedersen has started in Nur-Sultan on the sidelines of the 14th round of talks on Syria.

The delegations of Russia, Iran, Turkey, the Syrian government and the United Nations have already held bilateral talks.

The Syrian Constitutional Committee's work and the situation in Idlib are the main topics on the agenda, Sputnik reported.

On December 10, a plenary session will be held with Jordan, Lebanon, and Iraq joining as observers.
