Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Hafiz Pashayev has appealed to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev with a request to dismiss him from the post of deputy FM, according to Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry.
In his appeal, Pashayev stressed that he took this step of his own free will, taking into account the president's call to attract new and young staff to the civil service for the effective implementation of reforms carried out in Azerbaijan.
It was noted that Pashayev will continue his activities as a member of the Board of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as he is the rector of the ADA University, which operates under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
