Low oil prices play a positive role in continuing the work to implement economic reforms in Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Rector of ADA University Hafiz Pashayev, said at a conference titled 'Strategic Outlook on agriculture: competition, food safety and social aspects'.
Pashayev said that currently, Azerbaijan’s economy is going through an important stage.
“If oil prices remain at the current level or further decrease, it can be great support in implementing of economic reforms,” Trend cited him as saying.
Pashayev said that all this work is also being implemented at the state level; relevant commissions have been created to assist in the implementation of economic reforms.
