Therefore, every home, be it Dagestani, in the Caucasus, a Russian home, especially as we always say, as long as there is no war – that is, to ensure safety. If there is safety, we will provide well-being," the head of the Republic of Dagestan, Ramazan Abdulatipov, said.

Most of the citizens of the Russian Federation have already seen in the new year, in the traditional New Year's address of President of Russia Vladimir Putin special congratulations were sent to the Russian military, opposing international terrorism outside the country. "Traditionally, Russians celebrate the holiday with their families and friends. Of course, not everyone is able to celebrate New Year with their families. There is a need to work in hospitals and on factory floors, to perform office and military duties, protect the borders, to keep constant vigil to ensure our safety on land, at sea and in the air. We are grateful to all those who are always on the alert day and night, on weekends and on holidays.I would especially like to congratulate those servicemen who are fighting international terrorism, defending Russia's national interests in distant lands, showing will, determination and grit. We need these qualities everywhere, all the time and in all instances. Our country's success depends on the effective work and achievements of each one of us," the President said.

"In 2015 we celebrated the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. Our history, the experience of our fathers and grandfathers, their unity in difficult times and force of spirit are a great example for us, they helped and will help us to respond to modern challenges appropriately," Vladimir Putin expressed confidence. He also wished all parents the love and warm care of their children and to young people.
