Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh stated that during the visit of Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev to Tehran, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will offer him new cooperation in the oil and gas sector.
"A new plan of cooperation in the oil and gas sector will be offered to the President of Azerbaijan," the Mehr agency quoted Zanganeh as saying.
It is expected that within the framework of bilateral negotiations between Iran and Azerbaijan the authorities will discuss the issue of participation in the operation of the oil and gas fields of the Caspian Sea, APA reports.
