The head of the Syrian government delegation Bashar Jaafari arrived in the Kazakh capital of Astana to take part in an international meeting on Syria, which is to be held on May 3-4.
The new round of talks in Astana format will be preceded by expert consultations on May 2, Sputnik reported.
Apart from the Syrian sides, Russia, Iran and Turkey as ceasefire guarantor states, as well as the United Nations, take part in the talks.
