Turkish police arrested the head of Diyarbakir province's bar association, Tahir Elci, after he said the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) was not a terrorist group, the Hurriyet newspaper reports.
Elci made his assertion on CNN Turk TV last week. His supporters gathered at Elci's office and held a rally.
