Head of Tbilisi City Court dismissed

Today the Supreme Council of Justice dismissed the chairman of Tbilisi City Court and Criminal Bar Mamuka Akhvlediani from his post by a majority of votes.

"The main reasons for dismissal were paperwork problems, i.e. problems associated with the distribution of cases that were brought to the court... in accordance with Akhvlediani’s orders,’’ the chairman of the Supreme Court and the High Council of Justice Nino Gvenetadze said on the air of Rustavi 2, Sputnik Georgia reports.
