The head of the department of the Federal Migration Service for the Georgievsk district of Stavropol Territory is suspected of taking a bribe of 400 thousand rubles, the press service of the regional Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia reported.
"On August 18, the suspect, through an intermediary – an archivist of the Federal Migration Service – intended to receive a bribe amounting to 400 thousand rubles for overall protection and failure to identify instances of foreigners working without a work permit on the territory of Georgievsk," Interfax quoted the report as saying.
