The Foreign Ministers of Georgia and Iran, Mikheil Janelidze and Mohammad Javad Zarif, have met on the sidelines of the 52th Munich Security Conference.
In the course of the conference the ministers noted the historical and cultural ties, and good-neighborly relations between the two countries, as well as the readiness to deepen bilateral relations, stressing that the beginning of the implementation of the agreement on the Iranian nuclear program and the cancellation of international sanctions against Tehran creates new opportunities for further development of relations.
