Baku is hosting the 37th Conference of Chiefs of Police of European Capitals. 70 representatives from 25 countries are participating in it.
Azerbaijani Interior Minister Ramil Usubov in his speech noted the importance of the event, which is dedicated to providing security in the capitals of European countries and efficiency in the fight against crime. According to him, the conference will open up new opportunities for cooperation.
The conference will continue its work until August 30. On the last day, the participants will visit the services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan – '102' and 'Safe City' – as well as the rapid response police regiment, the Police Academy and the Baku Central Police Department, Interfax-Azerbaijan informs.
