Acting Director of the Bureau of hydrometeorological forecasting of the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Azerbaijani Ministry for Ecology, Gulshad Mammadov, said today that the air temperature in Baku and Absheron peninsula is now higher than the climate norm by 3-4 degrees.
According to Trend, Mammadov said that the weather in Azerbaijan is now abnormally hot, and the heat will last until August 5.
