The International Musical Festival 'Heat-2017' (Zhara), which will be attended by famous Russian performers, opened in Baku today.
Today, on the first day of the festival, Baku spectators will have chance to see Vera Brezhnev, Grigory Leps, Aleksey Vorobev, Svetlana Loboda, Elka, Ani Lorak, Valeria, Anita Tsoi, Gian Khalid, Max Barskih, Potap and Nastya Kamenskih, Monatik, Egor Kreed, Emin Agalarov, Mot, Serebro band, MBAND and many others. Andrei Malakhov and Yana Churikov will host the festival today, the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza reported.
The project was organised by a singer and composer Emin Agalarov (EMIN), Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Grigory Leps, as well as founder of Russian Radio Sergey Kozhevnikov.
Some Russian stars, such as Anita Tsoi, Grigory Leps, Glukoza and Yana Churikova have already arrived in Baku.
The singer and TV presenter Anita Tsoy noted that recently there are not enough concerts and festivals of this scale. "First of all, because it is expensive, and second, it requires crazy efforts. Nobody knows if there is another crazy person like Igor Krutoy who once created the famous Jurmala festival, which has been moved to Sochi. We know, for example, that Laima Vaikule supports her festival in Jurmala. Believe me, it's not easy at all, "she said.
"A desire to do it must be huge. Therefore, of course, all the artists, including Alla Pugacheva, could not but support and come here. It's very cool and honorable to be present at this event," the singer said.
In addition, he shared her plans for the coming days. "Of course, I want to meet my family. I've advertised the festival, so a part of my family arrived here. I really want to stay with them, and then, of course, I'll be ready to rock the after-party. Then I'll go on tour in Russia," Anita Tsoi saidю
The singer also stressed that it's not the first time at the festival 'Heat' for her. "Performing in Baku, I realized that people here understand music. In terms of music there is absolutely clear accumulated cultural heredity. So, on the one hand, you have to relax, and on the other, you need to work and perform, like artists who come here for not the first time. And remember that if Baku said 'yes' to you once, then it's forever," the singer concluded.
One of the organizers of the festival, Honored Artist of Russia Grigory Leps noted that he came to the festival in a wonderful mood: "I knew that they would meet me here very well. A magnificent city, excellent architecture, brilliant food, great people, good music," the musician noted.
When asked what he will perform today, he replied: "It's a surprise, you'll see everything tonight: so come"
