Temperatures in the Turkish city of Şanlıurfa have hit abnormally high levels, reaching 48 degrees Celsius, local media reported.

Şanlıurfa, located in southeastern Türkiye, is among the hottest cities in the country, with summer temperatures often exceeding 45°C.
