A helicopter and additional manpower have been sent to Tsagveri to extinguish the fire that erupted at Arjevanidze forest, Interpressnews.ge reported.
As reported by Georgia’s Interior Ministry the anti-fire efforts are intensively underway at the slope in Tsagveri, Arjevanidze forest.
Up to 200 employees of the MIA Special Errands Department have been involved in the process.
Fire erupted yesterday evening. Locals say lightning struck the area and caused fire.
