An Mi-28N helicopter crashed today on the Dubrovichi polygon in the Ryazan region.
One of the helicopters of the Berkut aerobatic team suddenly lurched and began to fall while performing one of the elements of the aerobatics. A fire started when the helicopter crashed to the ground, Tass reports.
According to eyewitnesses, the helicopter tail rotor stopped working. After performing the aerobatics figure ‘dissolve’ the helicopter began to spin on its axis, and descended to the ground.
