The Kazakhstan Ministry of Energy has announced the postponement of the modernization terms of the Atyrau, Pavlodar and Shymkent refineries.
The corresponding activities are planned to be completed at the first two companies by the end of next year. The cost of the modernization project of the Atyrau refinery is estimated at $2.05 billion (36.1% disbursed), and the Shymkent refinery is $2.04 billion (6.9% disbursed).
